Mayer Park Along The Columbia River, Oregon
I was headed up to paint at Rowena Crest with a group this morning, but missed them. It was very windy there, so I assume they went to lower ground. I ended up in Mayer Park by myself using my windy weather painting technique, which is to put everything on the ground (it ends up there anyway) and paint sitting on the ground. What this technique lacks in comfort, it makes up for it practability. It is just impossible to get anything done when your canvas is flying off your stand.
